Mission, Vision & Goals

Mission Statement

The mission of Scouts BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Vision Statement

Scouts BSA will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

Troop Goals

We are committed to providing an exciting, challenging and fun environment to develop Scouts into strong independent leaders and team members; to become good citizens and; to appreciate and be comfortable in the outdoors.  To accomplish these goals we subscribe to the “Aims and Methods of Scouting.”

Parent’s Part

You can help your scout learn the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan, and Outdoor Code. Leaning these principles and living by them is good for everyone…not just Scouts.  These are the foundation of Scouting that we build our program around.  In addition, getting involved as adult leaders or comitte members is a great way to support your scout on their journey to the rank of Eagle.
